Mission Statement

When in the course of high school events, it becomes necessary for students to take a stand against procrastination, pessimism, and lack of purpose, to fight for success, the spreading of truth and knowledge and to encourage outstanding studying; their belief in respecting all opinions compels them to declare the causes which drive them to the acceptance of such tasks.

This much we know for certain—that all students at Pleasant Grove High school are created equal, that they are each uniquely endowed by their creator with wisdom and intelligence to be shared with their fellowman, that each individual is valued for their own special abilities, and that everyone has something to offer. We recognize that others may not realize this or that they have forgotten. We, therefore, boldly make it our mission to use our own knowledge and experience gathered over the years to aid any Viking that is in need of reminding, reviving and cultivating the academic skills necessary for survival in and out of high school. It is our profound hope that by our efforts, we can make a stronger, more confident student body, and as a result, help our students become strong, confident members of society that will go forth from high school and do their part to save the world. As students ourselves, we can effectively reach our peers through all mediums, and we embrace the rising era of technology to assist us in our cause. We value existing and previous systems and do not believe in reinventing the wheel, but better yet, innovating and changing that wheel to meet the present needs of the students. As they change, we will change with them in order to best support them in their academic endeavors.

We are the Innovative Student Assistants of Pleasant Grove High School, and yes, we are for R.E.A.L.
